SplashParks and Spraygrounds in Charlotte

It is HOT out! Lucky for us there are plenty of places for kids to get wet for free, Charlotte has some great spray grounds and splash parks. If you're looking for a sprinkler park, splash park or spray ground in Charlotte we have the list! 

The Fish Fountain on the Green 



Make a great day out of a visit Uptown, the Green offers a great space for the kids to run around and the fish fountain will keep them cool. There
plenty of places to grab some take out and eat in the park. Parking is available under the Green or under the Mint Museum, street parking can be a little harder to come by but there is some. 

The Shops at Blakeney 




Near Brixx Pizza and the playground, there is a small area (near where the music plays on the weekends) that pops up some water on hot days!

Latta Park 

 

A great and super popular spray ground, Latta Park in Dilworth has easy parking and a great playground. Pack a lunch and a picnic blanket for
a fun day. Bring your bikes along as well, Dilworth offers some bike friendly side streets to ride on.

Romare Bearden Park 




Another great place to get wet in Charlotte is the waterfall at Romare Bearden Park. This park also plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. 

Veteran's Park 



Located in Plaza Midwood and totally worth the drive, Veteran's Park offers families one of the only covered splash parks in the area! 

Stallings' Splash Pad 




25 minutes south of us, Stallings Splash Pad has a giant splash pad, disc golf, play grounds and more! Be aware the splash pad is shut off from 1-3 daily
