Charlotte Gymnastics Academy is now registering for their new Flip With Me classes. We are so thrilled to be able to tell you about these classes and Charlotte Gymnastics Academy. My daughter takes her classes there and both of my sons have taken classes in the past. When my daughter first expressed the desire to take gymnastics we started looking for a place that would give her great instruction but not look to mold her into Gabby Douglas. We just wanted her to have a safe place to do the flips she has been doing off the couch. Finding Charlotte Gymnastics Academy was truly a stroke of luck for me. I was actually sitting in another gym waiting to let her take a trial class, I was feeling very uneasy, the coach was yelling at the kids, moms were chatting about meets and the girls were little~As I sat there I started to look up other gyms on my phone, I just had a bad feeling about where I was. I called Charlotte Gymnastics Academy (mainly because of location to be honest since it was near their school) and was on the phone with one of the owners for enough time to pull my kids out of the gym we were at. I drove right over to Charlotte Gymnastics Academy and took the trial class and have never looked back.
What was the difference? Charlotte Gymnastics Academy has this amazing vibe, the gym is great, the coaches warm, the kids happy and the talent overflowing. I feel so lucky to be at a place that is about the child and not the product. They truly want the kids to be able to learn and enjoy gymnastics in a low pressure setting. Yes they have teams but the focus is health, happiness and learning to love the sport. My daughter is so happy there, she has bloomed in the last 6 months that she has been there (the picture is of her on the split wall) she has learned more than I could have imagined but more than anything she is happy. She would go there every day if I would let her. If you have a child that wants to check out gymnastics this is the place to do it!

Charlotte Gymnastics Academy is proud to announce it's new program! "Flip With Me" is a new free play, exploratory class for the child and parent to take part in together. We strive to teach fun and healthy living through gymnastics basics and the earlier we can promote this lifestyle the easier it is to continue on the health and wellness path. The classes are broken up by 12months - 24months and 2yrs. - 3.5yrs.
This will help each child learn to the best of their physical abilities while still being able to bond with their caretaker. We, at Charlotte Gymnastics Academy, want the child to learn and experience the gymnastics basics that establish flexibility, strength, motor development, coordination, and agility. Unlike a "My Gym" or "Little Gym" this class will keep the the child entertained through physical learning rather than songs and inactive games. The classes are currently held on either Tues. or Wed. 12month - 24months are from 9:30am - 10:15am and the 2yrs. - 3.5yrs. are from 10:30am - 11:15am. For the month of March we are kicking off the program with a $15 monthly tuition to try out the class. Normally this class is $25 per month. We look forward to seeing you there.
