Today, July 7, 2013, I became the parent of a tween. My oldest turned 10 today. This is a huge milestone, double digits, closer to driving age than to potty training, 8 years from college. 8! One year from Middle School, 4 years from High School! It's not so much the fact that he is 10 as much as it is that my days with him are numbered. These 10 years have flown by and in 8 short years he will be gone, out of the house, on his own. If that doesn't give you pause to slow down and drink your babies in a little longer I am not sure what else will!
