How does it work?
We want to know your go to spots, who do you tell your besties about, when you need a cake, a party planner, a tutor who do you call? Kids need to burn off some crazy energy where do you go? Best rainy day ideas? Tell us! We will take nominations from now until September 29, 2013. If you're not a subscriber sign up today so you can follow along with all the fun and recieve our FREE weekly e-newsletter jammed packed with local events! There is only one ballot per email address please~We want this to be a fun way to show off the jewels in our Queen city crown! Businesses must be located in the Charlotte area~After September 29, we will tally the top 3 in each category and voting for winners will begin October 13, 2013 and run through November 3, 2013. We will announce the winners November 17!

Why should you participate?
We have goodies to give away! Each week we will give a prize away to one lucky SCMK reader! A winner will be selected from valid entries and chosen at random. Winners will be contacted via email and will have 48 hours to claim their prize! Prizes will range from tickets to local attractions, a trip to a local salon for some TLC and gift cards!

What's in it for the business?
Not only will you get to bask in the love of your fans, we will be giving the winner in each category a years worth of advertising for FREE in our business directory, a dedicated article in an upcoming edition of SCMK, a certificate to display so other families know you are SCMK Approved and the satisfaction of knowing that you are rocking the QC like no one else! If you're a business owner and want a "nominate us" logo for your website or Facebook page shoot us an email at rebeccap@macaronikid.com and we will send you the goods! Get the word out! Let your fans know via your email blasts, websites, social media outlets and any other way you can let them know you need their support! We know some businesses are planning on sending dedicated e-blasts to their email subscribers, let us know if you want a logo and links for an email blast and we will hook you up!

Official Rules~One entry per email address, you must be a subscriber and over 18 years of age to participate and be eligible for prizes. By participating in this process, if you are not a subscriber you will automatically be subscribed to receive our free weekly e-newsletter. You may unsubscribe at anytime. Nominations will run September 8 8:00 AM until September 29 at 11:59 PM. Voting will open October 13 at 8:00 AM and run until November 3 at 11:59 PM.
