Small Hands Big Art!

Awesome Camps to keep your kids busy!

By South Charlotte Macaroni Kid December 15, 2010

Our friends at Small Hands Big Art have done it again! They are back with awesome camps to keep your kiddos busy while creating beautiful works of art. Trust me mama this is no construction paper glue stick creation you’re going to look at and secretly throw away when your kid isn’t looking. Jennifer and her staff are creative and put so much thought into the projects your kids will make that you will be blown away. Small Hands Big Art, located in The Fountains Shopping Center, is a one of a kind kid's art studio. From the perfectly proportioned tables and chairs to the walls covered in big art created by little hands this studio will warm your heart and inspire your children. This winter your kiddos can take part in a variety of camps!

First up this Saturday, December 11 from 3:00-5:00 PM your kids can create a one of a kind holiday card. Alison Koss with Bella Photography will be on hand to capture and print the family holiday card (at an additional charge). This is a great activity for the whole family. Also this Saturday from 6:00-9:00 PM Small Hands Big Art is hosting a special evening drop off camp for kiddos ages 5 and up! I see a dinner date in your future mama!

If you can’t make it this weekend, here is the line up for the rest of the month.

I made that on December 17 from 6:00-8:00 PM for ages 4 and up. This drop off camp will engage children while they create unique gifts and holiday decorations. Cost for the camp is $35 and $25 for additional siblings

Sugar and Spice on December 18 runs from 4:00-6:00 PM is a delicious afternoon of cookie decorating. Kiddos will decorate 10 over-sized gingerbread cookies and create a one of a kind cookie box for their creations. This camp is $35 and $15 for each additional family member. Geared for kiddos 4 and up but mom and dad are invited to stay and make this a fun family project

All the trimmings on December 23 is just for you mama and daddy! Bring unwrapped gifts and create handmade wrapping paper, tinsel, and twine. You will also get a chance to try your hand at making some creative ornaments also. Cost for this fun night out is $35 and runs from 6:30-8:00 PM. Can you say girl’s night out mamma!!

Last but not least is the fabulous line up of Mini Winter Camps. These camps run from December 21-24 and December 28-31, with 2 sessions daily. Your little Picasso will be busy having fun at a time convenient for you! Sessions run from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM or 1:00-4:00 PM. Sign up quick to give your kiddos a special treat for the holidays.

These camps are not holiday themed so don’t worry about one more picture of O’Tannenbaum coming home, Jennifer and her staff have fun art activaties planned for your children and the camps will be structured like the traditional classes at Small Hands Big Art. Camps are $45 and $35 for siblings.

That’s a solid deal mama! For some child-free last minute shopping or some post holiday child-free spa time, your kids won’t miss you for a single minute while they are at Small Hands Big Art. These camps are for kiddos 4 and up so you better sign up fast mama, these classes are sure to fill up fast like lightening because any savvy mama knows, if Small Hands Big Art has camps that’s where your kiddos want to be, not dragging with you for the 10,000th time to Target. Just sayin’ mama, happy kids happy mama! You can register for any of these camps or classes by Calling 704-246-8271.
