Founded by Judy Hill in 2010, High Cotton has quickly become the cotton tie of choice not only in North Carolina but across the South. Judy's son was attending medical school at UVA and was told not to wear a tie because of the bacteria that can be harbored on the silk ties. Understanding that he didn't want to give up wearing a tie, she sewed him a cotton tie to wear on rounds. The preppy and washable ties soon became the basis for a great North Carolina business.
We love that there are so many options for fathers and sons to wear matching ties. There really is nothing cuter than a dad and his little guy matching ties to brunch, church or lunch at grandmas! High Cotton sent us some of their ties to check out. We were impressed with not only the quality but the durability of the bow ties. The fact that the ties are washable is a dream come true! The ties clean up great which makes every mom of little boys happy. The boys bow ties come in a variety or prints and colors but because these are locally made, there are limited quantities of the ties, if you see something you like order it now or it will be gone!
