American Girl has partnered with No Kid Hungry for 2015 to bring awareness to the struggle of childhood hunger in America. 1 in 5 children in the US struggle with food stability, No Kid Hungry and American Girl are hoping that their fundraising efforts through “For Goodness. Bake!” a year long initiative will encourage girls and families across the country to host bake sales in their communities and donate the proceeds to No Kid Hungry. For every $1 raised and donated, No Child Hungry can provide a child ten additional meals! In addition, Sur La Table will host cooking classes in March 2015. These classes will offer French themed 2 hour cooking classes. Girls will have hands on instruction and learn how to make French pastries.
Grace is only here for one year but with the No Kid Hungry initiative you and your family can help make an impact that will last much longer! Want more information on how you can help?
