Benefits of Jumping on Trampoline

It's a great Cardiovascular workout . Jumping increases your pulse rate, makes you breathe more deeply and increases the blood flow from your heart to your muscles. A healthy heart reduces your risk for heart disease and stroke.

Increases energy. As you jump, you improve the circulation of blood and oxygen throughout the body. The result is you feel more alert, increase your stamina and reduce fatigue.


Boosts metabolism. Cardio activity, such as jumping, is an important component to increasing your body’s metabolism as your burn calories. As you age, your metabolism tends to drop, and it becomes even more critical to keep moving.


Toned muscles. From your quads and hamstrings to your glutes, jumping gives all the major muscles of your lower body a workout. Also, you engage your abs as you jump producing a stronger core and better posture over time.

Strengthens bones. Some studies show that jumping, especially for premenopausal women, can increase bone mineral density.

Improved coordination and agility. As your core muscles grow stronger, your balance improves. Bilateral movements while bouncing further enhance the ability to coordinate and control the left and right side of your body at the same time.


Stress relief. It’s hard to feel down when you’re jumping on a trampoline. Just try it. You’ll feel like a kid again. Bouncing triggers endorphins in the brain, which control your mood and combat the harmful effects of anxiety and depression.  


Low impact exercise.  Trampoline jumping is an intensive form of exercise but has lower impact on the joints than running and tennis. The trampoline pad absorbs more of the shock on your body than hard surfaces that produce joint stress.


It’s doesn’t seem like work. Jumping is fun. You don’t have to dread going to workout each day. While the act of trampoline jumping might be perceived as easier than other exercise routines, it’s just as intense. You’ll work up a sweat, but you won’t mind as much because you’re having so much fun.
