Two new shows at Children's Theatre are sure to please kids of all ages, Bud, Not Buddy and Go, Dog, Go! are just the latest in the wonderful season at Children's Theatre.
Bud, Not Buddy is currently playing and runs through April 9. This is my 11 year old's favorite book of all time, he has read it so many times I have had to replace the ragged copy he has had in his backpack. This Newberry Award winning book tells the story of 10 year old Bud, tired of being an orphan, Bud sets off to try and find his father. Set during The Great Depression, Bud learns lessons about family that all children will relate to. This show is recommended for children ages 8 and up and runs for 90 minutes. CTC is offering an ASL performance on April 8, 3:00 PM. Tickets for Bud, Not Buddy start at $12 and are available for purchase at this link.
For our younger friends, Children's Theatre of Charlotte debuts Go, Dog, Go! Running April 7-April 23, this childhood classic comes to life with all the fun and adventure of the book. The busy dogs hurrying from one place to the next offer little ones a hilarious day at the theatre. This show is recommended for ages 4 and up, sensory friendly performances will be held April 15 and ASL interpreted shows will be held April 22. Tickets for Go, Dog, Go! start at $12 and can be purchased at this link.
