8 Kid Friendly Brewery in Charlotte

NoDa Brewing:  NoDa Brewing with two available locations in the beautiful Charlotte area is home to various Charlotte events, including a select few specifically for friendly family fun. Kid-friendly events with NoDa Brewing typically entails food trucks, face painting, music, and games of all sorts. Other than events, NoDa Brewing on the daily has an outdoor patio for you to relax while the fire-pit keeps you warm. While you stay warm next to the fire-pit, kids can play outdoors in the grassy area. Birdsong Brewing Co.Birdsong Brewery has several all year taps and several seasonal only taps that are made from local ingredients and pure creativity from the brewers. Birdsong Brewery is one of Charlotte’s breweries that gives back to the local community by donating their composted peanut shells and food to the farmers that they get their ingredients from. So it could be used later to grow the ingredients in their delicious brews. While you try something new, your kids could take advantage of the wide selection of board games and card games stocked for inside and outside use. Not to mention, Birdsong Brewing has a great outdoor patio where kids and adults can take part in playing good old-fashion corn hole. The Olde Mecklenburg BreweryTime to get classic with one of Charlotte’s oldest breweries. Olde Mecklenburg Brewery serves German-style brews just for you and your loved ones. In addition to their traditional German brews and food, OMB offers a huge outdoor area, which is basically a picnic for all. Their outside Biergarten area is a perfect space for your kids to run around and play together and, maybe, make new friends. Where else can you grab a cold refreshing beer, while feeling like a true community? Let’s not forget, four-legged friends are welcome, too. Legion BrewingLegion Brewing is a space of friendship Their brews are the essence of the founder's friendship and the friend’s who got them there. Their brews, mixed drinks, and delicious seasonal food make this a place where parents and kids can enjoy themselves. They made their space kid-friendly by including a fully stocked area to play board games and offer occasional events to create friendships between your “mini-you” and others. Sycamore BrewingSycamore Brewing is a young brewery in South End Charlotte. Sycamore is more than a place to just grab craft beer with friends. It is a place to watch the sunset while grabbing classic American food and a cold one, while kids go play in the open grass space. Sycamore holds live music weekends for friend and families to congregate. They, also, throw several food trucks days and even a Family Fun Fest; where face painting and games take place. Three Spirits BreweryThree Spirits Brewery is a place where kids and parents can have their own space, yet still be together. The Three Spirits Brewery was established by parents. Yes, parents! The owners, having kids of their own, strived to make their brewery kid safe and friendly. You are probably thinking, how? They made space within the brewery with old school video games, board games, Jenga, and even private wifi makes this a kid wonderland! Free Range BrewingFree Range Brewery is not like any others. They start their cultivation of community with ensuring the little ones have a space of their own in the brewery. Free Range Brewery created a space just for kids with books, board games, and even a chalkboard; so that kids can unleash their creative side. Sugar Creek BreweryAlthough Sugar Creek Brewery is young and new to Charlotte, they have become one of most favorited breweries around. Sugar Creek serves Belgian- style drinks, which they say like to #BreakTheRules. The brewery is in a whole different world of brews because they step outside the normal ingredients of brewing by adding aged hops, fruit, and/or even spices. Sugar Creek Brewery wants families, big and small, to be with loved ones and have a good time. More than just another “bar”, space, they have gone out of their way to make families feel welcome.
