 Charlotte Symphony Summer Pops Presents Celebrate America at Symphony Park

Enjoy fireworks, patriotic songs and more! You’re welcome to bring food, drinks, blankets and chairs.  Cost: $5-$15; children 12 and under admitted free. Starts at 8:15 p.m.

Summer Shootout Firework Spectacular Charlotte Motor Speedway 

Enjoy the Bojangles Summer Shootout Series followed by fireworks and drivers autographs. 

5 PM $8 for adults, kids 13 and under are free.

Red, White and BOOM Downtown Rock Hill 

150 E. Main Street 

Kid-friendly activities include rides, food trucks, ice cream eating contest, inflatables, and fireworks. Free event, 5PM-11PM


USNWC Fourth of July Celebration Whitewater Center 

5000 Whitewater Center Pkwy 

2-day festival that includes outdoor activities, fireworks, and live music. $6 for parking 3PM-9:30 PM

Matthews Family Fun 4th of July Celebration Stumptown Park

Parade starts at Stumptown Park with decorated bikes, scooters and wagons. The parade goes from Matthews Station Street and ends at Stumptown Park. Parade begins at 5:30 PM and followed by live music at Stumptown Park. Free 


July 4th Festival Tega Cay 8999 Windjammer Drive 

Boat parade, land parade, water ski show and fireworks to end the day. Free

WBT SkyShow Street Party and Charlotte Knights Baseball

Hit a Charlotte Knights game after a fun street party! Start the day at Mint Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd for a family festival from 2PM-10 PM. The Charlotte Knights game starts at 6PM with fireworks after the game. The festival is free, tickets for the Knights game start at $12. 


Independence Day Celebration Downtown Waxhaw 

Old school 4th of July fun starting with a parade at 10 AM and ending with fireworks when the sun goes down. Free

Plaza Midwood Pig Pickin’ The Diamond 1901 Commonwealth Ave 

Hit the 18th annual Pig Pickin, activities include live music and tons of food! Entertainment is free, there is a cost for food. 4PM-10PM
