August 27, 2019

Looking for the perfect show at Children's Theatre of Charlotte for your little one? Back by popular demand, A Sick Day for Amos McGee is currently running at CTC. Based on the beloved children's book, A Sick Day for Amos McGee showcases the story of friendship and the importance of caring for those who care for us.

Show Synopsis: Friends come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. In this heart-warming story about the joys of friendship, zookeeper Amos McGee knows friends can come in all sorts of species, too. Every day, Amos spends time with each of his animal friends at the zoo, running races with the tortoise, caring for a particularly shy penguin and reading stories to an owl. One day, Amos is too sick to visit his zoo friends, but, fortunately, the animals know just what to do.

This sweet show is only 45 minutes long and perfect for kiddos ages 2 and up. Tickets start at $10 and are available for purchase at this link. The show runs until September 1, 2019.

A Sick Day for Amos McGee is part of The Kindness Project at Children's Theatre of Charlotte, a movement to bring theater to Charlotte that focuses on displaying kindness to others.
