Hockey is my FAVORITE SEASON! When opening day rolls around, our family pulls out all the stops.
Our favorite NHL team, naturally, is the Chicago Blackhawks (old habits die hard), but our true love belongs to our hometown heros, our AWESOME AHLers, the Charlotte Checkers!
Checkers home opener is Friday, October 11th at 7PM against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at Bojangles Arena! So to show your Checkers some love, we are kicking off the season with a Cheering Checkers Photo Contest.
Submit your families wackiest, most outrageous, most fanned-out photos to us by Wednesday, October 9th and we will pick up to 10 to be voted on in our next newsletter. The winner will be featured on our site and WIN FOUR TICKETS to the Checkers home game on October 26th at 6PM against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms!
Submit your photos and caption at this link with Checker's Photo Contest in the subject by October 14, 2019 at 7PM and keep you eyes peeled to our website, Facebook and Instagram accounts to see if your family has been selected for voting. Then, spread the word to your friends and family and collect those votes!
