Olde Mecklenburg Brewery is buzzing with adults and children practically every day of the week. Olde Mecklenburg offers a variety of yummy food, like pretzels with cheese sauce and sausages. Emmet’s Social Table can be found in Downtown Waxhaw. Although this is not directly in Charlotte, it is certainly worth the drive. This restaurant was built in an old cotton mill and strives to provide a unique dining experience. Hello, Sailor in Cornelius has a patio that overlooks Lake Norman. They have a delicious lobster roll as well as a ton of different cocktails. If your family is spending a weekend in Lake Norman, or if you’re looking for an excuse to get out of Charlotte, this is the place to go!
