The holiday season is a time we all look forward to all year! We get to celebrate the season with family, friends, and amazing food. If you’re anything like us, we always have high hopes of getting holiday decorating accomplished early. But, we know that doesn’t always happen. No need to panic!
Here are some easy holiday decorating tips that will help with the stress that accompanies the holiday season.
- Wrap your gifts early! Use the holiday gifts you have been collecting all year as decor. Don’t hide them in the back of the closet or under the bed. Instead, find a time to wrap them early and stack them throughout your house.
- Don’t stop at the front entry! Make sure you spread holiday cheer throughout the entire house. Add a simple wreath to your backdoor or some garland going up the stairs.
- Use existing items and repurpose them for holiday use! You can fill an empty bowl with holiday candy or use a clear canister filled with garland. Use a dry-erase marker to write your favorite holiday slogans on mirrors around the house.
- Leave some ornaments off the tree! Your favorite ornaments can be used as a centerpiece on your dining room table. Your dinner guests will take notice of the beautiful ornaments you have laid out on the table.
Remember, holiday decorating doesn’t have to be stressful! Reuse where you can, wrap your gifts early and spread holiday cheer throughout the house. We hope you have a great rest of your Fall, and an amazing holiday season!
