The weather is finally starting to turn a corner and that means outdoor brunching will be plentiful! Here are picks for some of the best places to brunch! From fancy to family these places do not disappoint!
Nuvole Rooftop 22 offers classic brunch menu items with a beautiful view of the Charlotte skyline. Beyond the classics like chicken/waffles, shrimp/grits, and a delish burger the real star of this brunch is the DONUT CHARCUTERIE BOARD!
This little treat is packed with: Mixed Berries, Spiced Chocolate, M&Ms, Yogurt Raisins, Chocolate-Covered Pretzels, Bacon Strips, Teddy Grahams, Nerds, Pop Rocks, Animal Crackers~ yes, please!
Fahrenheit: The star of brunch is not only the view but also these Cap’N Crunch Pancakes! This northern girl loves that I can find a sammie Taylor ham, egg, and cheese (we called this a Jersey). If you have not had Taylor ham, go now, order this sammie. You will thank me!
Superica Charlotte is some of the best Tex-Mex in the area. You can't go wrong with the tamales and eggs! With 2 locations in the area now and outdoor seating, this is a great place for a family-friendly brunch.
Snooze AM Eatery: 7 different types of eggs benedicts, french toast, pancakes, and breakfast tacos are just some of the things that have made Snooze one of the most popular brunch spots in the QC.
Eddies Place: A Charlotte classic, Eddies Place has pancakes so big they hang over the edge of the plate. You will not leave Eddie's hungry for sure! The price point for brunch also makes it one of the best deals in town. The breakfast burrito and the country-fried breakfast are some of the best items on the menu!
Stack's Kitchen Waxhaw is one of the few diners in Charlotte that reminds me of the diners I grew going to. Huge portions, great food, and a bakery filled with Italian cookies and some tasty rainbow cookies (these are the best if you have not had them!) Don't miss the french toast and make sure you get some cookies to go! Stacks has 2 locations, one in Waxhaw and one in Matthews.
Emmet's Social Table has a great patio to brunch on right in the heart of Waxhaw. The brunch menu is packed with just as many delicious items as its regular menu. Call ahead as they are operating at 50% capacity.
Provisions Waxhaw offers breakfast and lunch in the heart of Waxhaw. Don't miss the Veg Head, the bread it is served on is delish! Head down on the weekends for their biscuits and gravy that they only serve Saturday and Sunday.
The Trail House: In addition to some amazing stuffed french toast, don't miss pimento cheese balls! Their Sunday brunch menu has a wide variety of options for even the pickiest of eaters.
Marios Pizza: Sundays from 10-2 PM you can treat yourself to all your regular brunch favorites. Our family's favorite are the donut holes (served with cinnamon) and the shrimp and cheesy grits!
Fort Mill/Rock Hill
Z's Bakery and Cafe: They had me at homemade oatmeal cream pies, to be honest. This awesome locally-owned bakery serves up some delish croissant stuffed french toast and some great hash brown casserole.
Kounter: Owned by Rock Hill native, Chef Rob Masone has one of the best brunch menus in the area. Don't miss Monkey Business, challah french toast filled with bananas, Nutella, and Chantilly cream. If you like something savory for breakfast. the Nest Egg is the way to go!
Pump House Rock Hill's brunch menu changes out seasonally so there is always something new and fresh to try out. Located right on the water, brunch with a view makes for a doo Sunday!
Napa Kingsley: The newest of Regional Executive Chef Michael Griswold's restaurants, you won't want to miss brunch at this Fort Mill eatery! The Crab and Crispy Polenta Benedict is amazing and the chicken and waffles are a sure kid-pleaser. Have a picky eater? No problem - the french toast is simple yet perfect.
LRB Cantina: You'll come for the brunch and end up with a 10-inch cinnamon roll ~ and you won't be disappointed by any of it! With a substantial brunch menu and an equally impressive beer and cocktail menu, this is great spot for the whole family. LRB offers outdoor dining and plenty of space to spread out.
