Town of Matthews Independence Day Celebration-July 2nd
- The Town of Matthews celebration takes place on July 2nd. The night will kick off with family-friendly activities, live music, and a concert at 5:00 p.m. This will be followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Summer Pops at South Park Mall-July 2 8:15 PM
- Join your Charlotte Symphony for a rousing salute to America with a night of patriotic favorites and tunes that celebrate America's unique musical traditions -- all topped off with a spectacular fireworks finale!
Carowinds Celebrate America Fireworks Show-July 2-4
- Experience a 4th of July fireworks spectacular all weekend long at Carowinds! There will be a show each day from July 2nd to July 4th. Kids will love to watch the fireworks light up the Carowinds skyline.
Whitewater Center-July 3-4
- Get outside and enjoy free yoga, fireworks, and more at WWC.
WBT SkyShow and USA Baseball Game-July 4
- Head over to Truist Field on July 4th for the WBT SkyShow. The largest fireworks show in the southeast will take place after the Team USA Baseball game, which begins at 6:05 p.m. Do not miss out on this awesome event! If you are unable to snag tickets to the game, grab a spot at Romare Bearden Park to watch the show.

Waxhaw 4th of July Parade-July 4
- This year’s theme is “Stars & Stripes”. Watch as floats, bands, and horses trot down the streets of Downtown Waxhaw at 10 AM. This is our favorite parade! Our family has been going since our kids were babies.
Indian Trail 4th of July Parade-July 4
- 11:30 AM in Indian Trail on Indian Trail Road
Lake Wylie-July 4
- Starting at 9:30 PM, you can watch the massive fireworks display over Lake Wylie.
