Summer at Providence Day is THE place to be. Where friendships blossom, imaginations soar, and discovery is around every corner. It’s the place where passions are celebrated and nurtured and where exceptional staff ensures a summer of memorable experiences.
Camp is where summer memories are made, so we understand the importance of choosing a program that lives up to its reputation. For 30 years, Summer at Providence Day has offered full- and half-day programs in academics, art, science, culture, technology, sports, and more. Every family here enjoys:
- Programs designed with the varying interests and needs of campers at all stages of development

Camp Varieties to fit every interest!
Whether your camper is interested in sports, technology, or the arts, Summer at Providence Day has something for you!
- Sports - Improve your basketball skills with Hoop State Basketball Camp or Southern Stars Basketball camp. Run routes and increase your speed while having fun in the G7 Football Camp. Learn how to score goals with Soccer for FUNdamentals, Field Hockey Camp, or Playlax Lite Lacrosse Camp. NEW this year is a Volleyball player developmental camp for girls. All sports camps are hosted by current or former PD Athletics coaches.
- Technology - Is your camper interested in Robotics or Drones? This is the place for you! Perhaps gaming is more their speed? Then check out Supernova Gaming and also learn about sportsmanship, leadership, and safety. We offer several camps focused on engineering such as Rocket Engineering, Engineering Racing Drones, and CAMMP.
- The Arts - Perhaps your camper has a flair for the dramatic? Check out our two production camps: Alice in Wonderland and Lion King JR. We also offer sewing, sculpting, sketching, and Swifties!
Traditional full-day summer camps are also a highlight with PD’s own Camp Spirit!
Camp Spirit brings classic fun to summer with a full-day experience reminiscent of sleep-away camp. Days are filled with nature exploration, water play, outdoor sports, arts and crafts, and lots of old-fashioned fun. Your child is challenged and empowered by day, then returns to the comforts of home at night.
Over 300 campers attended our third-year last summer, creating new traditions with a team of Providence Day teachers, alumni, and student counselors. At Camp Spirit, every day is unique, enriching, and just as memorable as the day before.
