Description
The Student Success Center is a pop-up learning space for elementary students (K-5th grade) needing a supportive learning environment from a trained volunteer for homework help and skills practice. Students are welcome to utilize the Student Success Center in these 3 ways: Homework Help, Skills Practice, and online tutoring.
Library volunteers are available one afternoon a week for two hours to help students complete assignments, practice a skill, or connect to Library resources. Student support is available on a sign-up basis depending on volunteer availability; registration is required.
Note: While the Student Success Center is intended for student support, it is not a tutoring service. Volunteers provide help and guidance to the best of their ability, but are not certified teachers. Volunteers do not complete assignments for students.
