Description
The Student Success Center at the Matthews Library is a pop-up learning space designed to provide a supportive learning environment for students in elementary school (K-5th grade). Students work with a volunteer to complete a homework assignment, practice math or reading skills, or learn how to access Library resources. Students are invited to put their name on the list upon arrival, to be called upon by a Library volunteer when there is an available space in the center.
Note: The Student Success Center is not a tutoring center but rather a space designed to seek learning support from a volunteer. Students are called to work with volunteers on a first-come, first-served basis and are not required to register.
