We were sent a Bitty Baby to check out and to say she was welcomed with open arms is an understatement! Bitty Baby has been given a premium sleeping spot in my daughter's bed. Bitty Baby has become a constant companion and I love that my 8 year old boy is even engaged by Bitty Baby, they take care of her together, feed her breakfast and tuck her in. The books are great and we have read the book over and over. The great picture books are not what you expect when you hear "picture books", these beautifully illustrated books have great engaging stories that give parents a chance to talk to their daughter about kindness, generosity, curiosity and confidence. The books are centered around these themes as the little girls in the books explore the world around them with their Bitty Baby. Each book has a "For Parents" section that focuses on the social and emotional development of preschoolers. My daughter loves the book we have, I dare to say she has it memorized at this point. If you have girls that are a little older than preschool age, the reading level in the Bitty Baby books are great for shared reading with your child. My daughter loves to read along in the sections she can.
