Founded and directed by former college basketball head coach Dan McGovern, Yes I Can Basketball has been serving the youth of Charlotte since 1997. “If you’re searching for AAU or recreation basketball, you’ll be disappointed in our program.” said McGovern, “That’s not who we are. Our secret sauce focuses on improving the player not the team. Our basketball camps are chock-full of serious drills and training, designed to increase the level of play of each camper. All skill levels are welcome! Campers will go through detailed skills training that includes ball handling, shooting, passing, defense, game concepts and more! Campers will also experience plenty of scrimmaging, daily tournaments, and skills competitions. These camps are by far our most popular programs! From choosing the right friends, to putting academics before athletics - we use our platform to teach more than just basketball.
