Acting Out Studio specializes in bringing professional instruction to the Southeast and shaping talented students. We offer acting classes for kids to adults. We also offer vocal lessons, birthday parties, private instruction and summer camps. 

At AIR Aerial Fitness, campers ages 8-12 will take an AIR® Kids Class on the silk hammocks for the first hour of camp. Campers will then take a snack break and explore their creativity by making a craft and conclude with mindfulness exercises, journaling, and creative play on and off the hammocks. Each camp session will run 2.5 hours. Kids will perform a choreographed routine on the last day of camp for families to see!

We have 2 weeks of summer camp available: July 8-12 - 8:30a-11:00a and August 5-9 -  8:30a-11:00a

Do you have a child at home with a big imagination who loves stories and adventure? This summer, join Charlotte Ballet Academy for one of our weeklong storybook camps! We offer three summer sessions for ages 3-6 at two, Uptown's Center for Dance and Cornelius' Cain Center for the Arts.

Want summer care for your child that is beyond the arts & crafts, drop-in services that offer trivial activities just to keep your child entertained? Hands Create Fine Art’s classes will provide action packed, colorful and creative fun with a rewarding educational value. Hands Create is located in South Charlotte at The Arboretum, across from Michael’s. 

Hands Create will add a spark of creative joy to your child’s summer by signing them up for our professionally crafted, fun, fine art camps. Experienced art educators will guide young artists through the completion of unique art masterpieces inspired by the study of famous artists and art cultures. Individualized instruction will be diversified within the art room to accommodate the various age levels. Each child receives a free Hands Create T-shirt that will be tie-dyed to the color theme of the week.

We are a family owned dance studio for ages 2 to 19. We offer beginner, intermediate and experience/advance classes. We have many fun and exciting summer camps for all ages and interest.

Lumi School of Musical Theatre is a performing arts studio, educating children and young adults in the performing arts industry. We will offer a variety of classes for ages 3 and up in dance, vocal, musical theatre, acting and theatrical productions.

Summer camp at Matthews Playhouse promises a variety of creative and challenging experiences for youth. With themed camps for ages 4–18 years old, children participate in full or half-day camps during the months of June, July, and August and each session culminates with a special on-stage demonstration for friends and family.  

Our fun & enriching programs educate, inspire & entertain your creative young artists! Inside a Small Hands Big Art studio, children can feel free and uninhibited to explore their creativity without worrying about making a mistake or a mess.

Immerse your child in the captivating world of clay with our Youth Ceramics Camp in Charlotte, NC! This week-long camp is the perfect introduction to pottery, offering three hours of daily exploration. Students will embark on an artistic journey, building mugs and pottery by hand, creating enchanting gnome and wizard sculptures, and even experiencing the potter's wheel.

Join The Lotus Project for a creative summer you'll never forget! Perfect for the beginner and experienced performer alike, the LOTUS Arts Summer Intensive is a warm, nurturing, INCLUSIVE environment in which young artists will collaborate with one another and highly trained teaching artists to produce two full musicals. Summer of 2024 includes Finding Nemo Jr. and Junie B. Jones The Musical - open to performers of ALL skill and experience levels!

Visions Dance Academy offers dance classes - Ages 2.5 & UP. All genres included ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, jazz funk, tumbling to recreational and competitive students.
